The Halo Garden Of Sudden Memories offers a place where grieving parents can share those precious
sudden memories that they have had of their child.
Many times, simple conversation or unrelated events, trigger sudden
memories that bereft parents had no idea they possessed. Often, these memories suddenly appear out of the blue, sometimes years after
our children have left this earth.
Because memories have a tendency of slowly fading, this chapter is a place that is available for you to share your
sudden memories in order to keep them alive and vivid in your mind forever. A place to share the
sudden memory that you have had of your child, with others who know exactly just how precious these memories are!

Memories Of Michelle
Michelle use to help all the kids in school. Once she came out of school and said "I'm a teacher! I looked after the new children."
She was a loving child. I am so proud to haven known her and have her in our life.
Thank you God for giving her to us even so, it was so short. Look after her now. We will always remember the good times we shared with you Michelle.
See you soon my darling daughter. Mummy and Daddy LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Memory Of A Talented Young Man
My memory was triggered while I was sitting in my Dr's office and noticed a drawing.
My ANGEL Son Lee was very talented at drawing and art. Although everyday he is always on my mind in everything he did.
But there are just those times when you are somewhere else, talking to someone, and at that point I am not thinking about him, but then something just triggers my mind back to the work he did.
Like in the Dr's office today, they have a section where kids can draw and place them on this wall where all patience can take a look.
This drawing was done by a boy at the age of 10, it reminded me of Lee, as Lee started drawing in Kindergarten, never knowing then he would grow up and be as good as he was, and if got the chance would have gone much further in life.
All his drawings are on his site, all except drawings that were framed, and the size 10x15 before he passed away.
He was exceptional at writing poetry too.
If you get a chance, please visit his site, and take a look at how good he was.
You will always be my favorite artist/poet my ANGEL, there is no other like you.
I will love you Forever and Eternity

Shane Loved All Holidays
Shane loved every holiday and would decorate for all of then. He was always tall and very thin and on Christmas,
he would dress as Santa. It was so fuuny cause his pillow and stuffing would always start falling out everywhere.
Shane was an awesome impersonator and could sound, move and act like anyone, especially members of our family.
We would all be rolling on the floor laughing at him.
He was a character and loved to make us all laugh and would do anything to make us laugh.
I loved him more than life and always will. Mom

Jonathan's Balloons
My only child, Jonathan, age 23, passed away December 19, 2004. He had two little babies, James age 2 and Kayla, 2 months old.
This past week we celebrated my sons 25th birthday.
I took my grandbabies to the cemetery with 25 balloons, and alot of tears....As James now 4 and Kayla, now 2, were blowing kisses up
to Heaven as the balloons flew high in the sky....I remember when Jon was a little boy and how much he loved balloons...
and all the times he wanted to buy balloons and make balloon animals.....
That was one of his most favorite things to do at his young birthday parties......I only wish he was here to make balloon
animals with his children at their parties.....I miss him so much.

My Michelle and her "Q-Tips
My Michelle was always mommy's little helper.
She had a tendency to sometimes hurry through the
house and pick things up if we had company or daddy was
almost due home from work, lol.
Michelle also loved to clean her ears with Q-tips. Something I
think she saw her mama do so much that she too developed
her own super ear cleaning regimin. :)
Imagine my surprise and "sudden memories" one day
several weeks after my Michelle parted when I went behind our TV set for
something and then saw her nightie thrown on the floor as if hastily done
in one of her quick pick-ups like she used to sometimes do, lol.
I went to pick up her nightie and lo and behold there were also
a clump of Q-tips!! I KNEW this was from Michelle and it was
just exactly the way she had left it,
what sudden memories came over me,
my heart and soul were so taken back to those
"Sudden Memories"
of my Michelle and her "Q-Tips"...

Johnathon's Handwashing
Triggered by an email I sent to an ill friend 8½ years after his departure into Heaven, I suddenly had a memory of Johnathon! The following is an excerpt of this email.
"Is RARE that I actually get sick or get a cold........my family neither......I think this is because I am exposed to so
many flippin bugs on a dailey basis that my immune system is just immune to them....
I NEVER wear my work shoes into the house, and nobody......including the dogs.....are allowed to touch me until I take my scrubs off
and change into jammies.......until I wash my hands for the kazillionth time for the day.......but I think....as Rita, a coworker
told me..........my shoes are still worn in my car.........I don't shower when I get home, so buggy germs are probably still on
the rest of my skin, if not my hands.........
Not to mention, my nostril hairs carry in alot of germs.......whenever I sneeze.....I am spraying RMH germs all throughout my
house.........even trying to cover with tissue.......tissue really does nothing.....is too thin! I am a "Wash Hands"
fanatic.......because of me, my family has turned into one also........
Even Johnathon.......oh wow.........I remember so clearly that child singing his ABC's while he washed his hands.......when I
first started Respiratory school, they told us that you know your hands are clean if you sing the entire alphabet song while
washing.........I came home and made it a rule....oh wow.........oh CRUD.........I am just now remembering Johnathon singing
his ABC's while washing his hands!
One time, at JCPENNEY, I finally let John go to the bathroom by himself as I stood out the door of the MENS restroom...he was
taking a long time........previously, I always just took him in the WOMENS room, but he was headstrong on not going into a "Girls"
bathroom, so I let him go, as I waited........he was taking a long time and I was becoming frantic with worry that some loon was
in there with him..........
I told Steph "Nobody's around, just go peak in and make sure he's okay"........of course, I got static from Steph, who was
about 9 or 10 years old at the time, and she was mortified that I was sending her into the "boys" bathroom........Johnathon
was about 5 or 6 I guess........but she did it..........
She came out saying "MOM!!!!!!! He's washing his hands and won't come out until the entire alphabet is sung! I interrupted, so now
he started over!!!!!!!! MOM.....I want to go get my ears pierced!"
Wow.........just wow.......that is why we were at the mall.........it's all coming back to me.......we went to go get Steph's ears
pierced, and Johnathon needed to pee!"
